The lion’s sharing
Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a lion, a fox, a wild dog, and a wolf. The lion was the king of the forest and he had a great appetite.
One day, he went hunting with his friends to find food. They searched for hours but couldn't find anything. Finally, they stumbled upon a deer by chance and killed it immediately. They then took it to share with each other.
The lion roared and said, “Divide this deer into four pieces.” Then, fox, wild dog, and wolf followed what the lion said. They took the skin of the deer off and divided it into four pieces. The lion stood in front of the deer meat and said, “The first piece is mine because I am the referee. The third is also mine because I have tried hard to chase it. And the last one is mine too.
I really want to see whoever dares to carry this meat away.”
The fox was very clever and knew he could not win against the lion. So he thought of a plan. He said to the lion, "Oh great king of the forest! You are so wise and powerful that you deserve all four pieces of this deer. But please allow me to carry them for you." The lion was pleased with the fox's flattery and agreed.
The fox then took all four pieces of the deer and ran away as fast as he could.
The lion realized that he had been tricked but it was too late. The fox had already disappeared into the forest.
From that day on, the lion learned not to be greedy and to share food with his friends.
